Do you accept insurance?
We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and TriWest. If you want to check your coverage, please email us your name, DOB, Provider, and Member ID number. If you are not with any of these providers, we can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider. You can use your HSA or FSA card as well.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture needles are as thin as your hair and are nothing like the hypodermic needles that you see at the hospitals. In some of the more sensitive areas, you may feel a poke. We are here to guide you through the process and insert the needles as gently as possible.
What should I wear to the appointment?
Loose fitting comfortable clothes are recommended as we will need access to your arms, legs, and any other areas that you may be seeking treatment for.
How soon will I notice results?
Everyone is different, but in most cases, patients notice some improvements after a few sessions, especially for more acute conditions. It is very common to notice improvements a day or two after the session. However, it will take time for chronic conditions to resolve the issue completely.
I tried acupuncture once and it did not work
In most cases you need sets of treatments to resolve the issue. It’s like going to the gym. You can’t expect change after going to the gym once. Each treatment builds up on each other. The doctor will evaluate and recommend the proper number of treatment sessions at the end of your first appointment.
Can you work on kids? Is it safe?
Acupuncture or acupressure works great on kids and is a safe way to maintain wellbeing of your child. Kids’ body actually respond faster to treatments than adults and the treatment sessions are shorter than adults.
